Prometheus excites me
Lots of interesting Prometheus “stuff” this week! Firstly Ridley Scott has apparently stated that the link between Alien and Prometheus is minor.
The Prometheus is owned by an entrepreneur called Peter Weyland [who] is played by Guy Pearce. That’s the connection between the two films, and nothing more. ‘Prometheus’ is a new film, a new world, and is full of new ideas. And of course, new monsters as well. – Source

As we’ve discussed on the podcast before, adventure games kind of dropped off the map for a long time and are now almost a speciality commodity. Tim Scafer and Ron Gilbert are well aware of this, and they have make a video interview where they discuss exactly this, as well as what they think makes a great adventure games, their favourite game moments, and a whole load of other fascinating topics.
